We are back from the 2008 Convention, hosted by the Southwest Washington F.O.O.L.S. and the Puget Sound F.O.O.L.S. They did an outstanding job. In 2009, we will gather in York Beach, Maine as the New England F.O.O.L.S.; the Southern New England F.O.O.L.S. and the Central Mass F.OO.L.S. will be hosting. The 2009 Convention will be in June.
At the 2008 Convention, we had the honor of transferring the KEGMAN to the Puget Sound and Southwest Washington FOOLS. Our contribution to the KEGMAN was to begin a "belt" for the KEGMAN, consisting of Chapter coins. This, our Chapter Coin is placed on the KEGMAN. We also added an American Flag to the KEGMAN.
The 2008 Convention also saw the implimentation of several, significant changes in F.O.O.L.S. International. These changes will require our Chapter to adopt to the new, F.O.O.L.S. International guidelines. In the coming weeks, we will begin making these needed changes. Again, many are significant.
Will someone from the Central Jersey FOOLS and South Jersey FOOLS please contact me. It is important you know about the new FOOLS requirements, for all Chapters.

Save our jobs in Hackensack

Gentlemen,
Hackensack firefighters and officers have given notice to HUMC, which we are required to do by law, that we will be protesting in front of and around the medical center. June 30th, meeting at fire headquarters at 1030 am. Word will be passed from PFANJ office and also passed to FMBA office. It would be greatly appreciated if the word could be spread. We are hoping for large numbers to make a presence know. We will be carrying signs( no sticks cause they say they can be used as a weapon, lol) Thank you all for your support. Any questions , please drop me an email. This should be good!
